I'm just totally not up on life & everything right now! There's just all kindsa shit going on right now, & I just don't wanna dwell on it...basically, I've learned the art of 'compartmentalizing' my life, which means, well, I'm 'brainless', unless I force myself to think...Easier than I ever thought! Holy God, you mean I've been using my brain all my life, and it turns out I didn't need to?? lol...
No, there's lotsa books to read and all that...I got my newest one today in the mail...yeah, call me a sucker. I ordered it about a month ago off Glenn Beck's homepage, and it's #8729 out of the first ten thousand signed copies. I'm looking forward to reading it tonight...all I've read for months is nonfiction politics, but this is Glenn's fiction novel, The Overton Window.
I've got Kim's mom looking for a good apartment I'd like. She's been a realtor in town for 35 years! And Kim & I have been BFF's that long, Kim'll help her out on what I want!
Bro was here the other day & brought back the book I let him take on vacation when I was in the hospital :-/ He laid it on the desk & said he didn't get far, it was too one-sided for him!~lol...it's my signed copy of 2010, take the nation back...signed by Dick Morris...:-)
Okay, I really need to try to sleep tonight...my ms dr's had me taking melatonin for my insomnia, but it works for a night, then doesn't...A lot of nights I'm still laying in bed trying to go to sleep at 6:30 AM!!

On sleep- one thing that works for me (it's prescription though) is trazadone. If you have a noisy brain like me it tells it to shut up. Nothing else works.
Hmmm, one-sided? I read all the one-sided stuff so I can take a side. =)
And I like Glenn Beck!
sherry, hey, thanks for the scrip name for sleep! i need to ask my dr abt it, it was 6:30 am til 2:30 pm for sleep AGAIN last night!! benadryl used to shut my brain up, but, not anymore!
i like glenn beck too...i've learned all kinds of history books to read, & i LOVE to read!
Melatonin was always a little hit or miss for me, too.
My girlfriend takes Ambien, and swears by it. It's generic now, and even cheaper than the OTC stuff.
wow, thomas, i never thought about ambien, but i heard it works...i'm just done with anything tame, like diphenhydramine based!
LOL@Ambien, last time I took it I started hallucinating. I thought the heating vents were flying saucers! WOW could they zip, zap or what!
sherry, okay, now you're making ambien tempting for me! i already called my neuro & req an rx for it, even b4 i read this!
Why do you need a realtor? There are proably around dozens houses in your small rinky dink town. :)
well, there's no listings in the paper, & since i cant drive anymore cuz of ms, joann's the best way to go...
Maybe your MS medication needs medication.
Regarding your last post, I can imagine the pain your friend is going through (and the pain that you went through two years earlier), but that's about it. I've never had to deal with a dead marriage. My best to her (and always to you).
BTW, I thought all the books on Beck's site were fiction. You mean he's serious?
x, you crack me up! & that cartoon today was perfectly timed, wasnt it??
i'm having a hard time trying to deal with the fact that she doesnt want to work, "i've been taken care of for 24 yrs, & that has to stay that way!" i'm so f*cking ashamed of ANY woman with that attitude! i havent talked to her since she sd that, i just cant! i'd give anything in the world to be able to go to work again!! grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Wow, your post really let me see how your brain's bouncing around right now. Hope the melatonin works for you eventually!
Hey there cutie!!
Happy Friday to you.. hope you are back to sleeping and that you are feeling well.
