Tif's gonna be 27 Saturday!

It's almost October!!! Yah-hoo!!

Well, Truman's still at Dr Y's. His liver was biopsied yesterday, but they don't have the results back yet. I talked to Dr Y at 4:45 pm, and asked him how's Trumie, & if he was eating yet...he is one of the nicest & most understanding people I know. He said, no, he still won't eat, they're having to syringe-feed him. And then he said the results may not be in until Monday! I kinda groaned, and asked if it would be ok if I left him there til the results were back, just because I'm having a pretty big ms relapse, and I can't hold Truman with one hand, and feed him with the other at the same time...shit, I have a hard time eating myself, when I feel like this!...ugggghhhh....but he was all, "That's fine! Don't worry about it!" It's probly gonna cost, but he's with people I trust, & that makes it worth it.

And my pretty little baby Tiffany will be 27 Oct 2...wow...where did the time go? Now she's a great enthusiastic mommy too! And in college to be a labor & delivery room nurse! She'll be the best at it, cuz she's very empathetic. I know I was very blessed to have her. But I'll never forget taking her up to Findlay to be babysat by my friend in the summer of '94 when I worked up there...Driving up was nice, I listened to WJR talk radio, & after about half an hour of extra sleep, Tif would wake up & tell me all the dreams she'd had the night before...they were always interesting...especially the one where she had been being chased around by a giant injection needle! Then every evening when we came back to Marion after I worked all day at the store up there, she told me about the fun she had with Kris's kids. When we drove in from 23, at that time, there was a farm (right across from where my apartment is!), and there were always cows out by the fence...Tif always rolled her window down and yelled "MOO!!" at them...great times!

Happy Birthday, Tiffany! I love you!

Happy birthday Tiff! I'm still thinking healing thoughts for Truman. Poor guy. You're right, he's in safe hands and that's all that matters.

27, really? How is that possible? I thought for sure you were like 35. Hmm... having babies very young, huh? Happy birthday amazing Tif and congrat's to you, Libby-Girl, for giving something back to the Earth to counter all the troublemakers. One Tif is worth 100,000,000 of the typical folks walking around the planet. Good job! You may sit back on your laurels. Oh, and take care of yourself, sweetie. One thing you know about relapses is "this too shall pass." We're here for you in the mean time should you need a smile or giggle.

Hi Libby,
I havn't been blogging or reading...I better get back here! What a week?!?! MS no fun, Missing Truman....
At least you have a birthday to celebrate, wow, 27?!?!! THat is hard to believe. And Tiff certainly is multi-talented going back to school for nursing.
Have you heard back from the vet today? Difficult to wait all weekend long! Maybe if they get him eating a bit he will start on his own.

The cows are cute soft full fluffy and beautiful.....they are sentient.

The last part of your post gave me that flashback to our vegan friend.

ricardo! lololol!! they always made me hungry for steak!! & i always thought about introducing tif to the great ohio sport of cow-tipping!!! & don't forget...chandra's birthday is the same as mine...that's the other vegan friend from san francisco!

I'll send Chandra some complimentary steaks then.

Oh and I I think of is burgers and steaks when I see of hear mention of cows. Milk too. Yeah so they get killed. Oh well, sucks to be a cow. Sentient or not. If we didn't eat them they'd just stand around all day eating grass and pooping. We're making them useful.

OH, ricardo!! i double-dog dare you!! kansas city steaks has great ones, and you get them off the web!!! (giggle!)

ric...aren't cows a big part of the methane gas in our atmosphere?? and, well, if WE didnt milk them wouldn't they just explode, when their udders got full, hmmm?

Libby a cow is a cow but I swear if you let some of the extreme vegan types talk your ear off they will have you thinking the cows can sit down and bang out your taxes therefore we shouldn't eat them. then if you shoot down that argument they ask why is it OK to not kill cats and dogs but fine to kill cows. My answer, cows taste better.

then I just saw a video called "If Slaughterhouses Had Glass Walls, We'd All Be Vegetarian." Wrong. I saw the videos about how they kill the cows, not pretty but I'm still eating the cows. This drives the vegan people CRAZY because that's their trump card. They are hoping the gore will shock you into eating like a sparrow. NOT ME!!!

Now I'm not for senselessly torturing animals but you gotta kill them to eat them and I find it odd they they say we humans are barbaric for eating animals but look the other way over how brutal animals are to each other. Have you seen a lion feed on a cow or other animal?

Then when you get them on that they say we humans are not made for meat consumption. they point out our teeth. We have no fangs. Well so what? I can still bite into a steak. And really, if I can't handle meat I'd die from my first bite of beef jerky. It's all so silly.

ric...""If Slaughterhouses Had Glass Walls, We'd All Be Vegetarian." no...but windex would have an extreme rise in stocks! lol!
you've spent a LOT of time being cornered by vegans, havent you (poor baby!)...never compromise your beliefs to make someone else happy...you'll always know it was wrong in your heart...

Happy birthday Tiff! What a nice day...!

Poor Truman. I hope they find out what is wrong...

AND WHY DO I KEEP GETTING Service Unavailable Error 503 messages everywhere I go on Blogger???

And speaking of cows...can I say I'm a vegan by proxy, I only eat corn-fed cows? =p

sherry...that's a good one...vegan by proxy!! only eat corn fed beef...what else would cows eat...they aren't exactly carnivores! although that right there gives me a really good visual for a halloween short story!too late to submit it to alfree hitchcocks magazine for this year, but...i'll write on it for another year, & then submit it next june or july!

When I was a kid I liked kids as in goat kids I mean. I for some reason found them cute.

Please, let your social worker help you with completing your advance directives/living will. Everyone should have one, even if completely healthy. Just in case.
