thursday 12:30 am

I really haven't been doing much of anything lately...well, yeah, I guess I have. Still trying to get all my receipts, etc together, & turned in for medicaid...

Casey Anthony...I hate this bitch more every hour...and I'm really irritated with the defense attorneys on the news shows that say "don't rush to judge!" Holy cow! It's been 3 freakin years!! I'm still not buying that she fell in the pool & drowned, #1...do you even think for one second that Caylee's grandpa would even for one second hide that baby's body in the woods instead of call 911?? He's a retired police officer, for heaven's sake!! The duct tape around Caylee's head & over her nose & mouth, they already said that she died because her airway was closed off, & it's definitely a "mom" thing that she had a pink heart sticker over where her mouth would've been...also that her body was actually wrapped in one of her Winnie-the-Pooh blankets...if that doesn't say 'sleep tight, my daughter'. What would?...
Retching...LibbY!

Just a question, and not a rhetorical one. If this case upsets you so, why do you continue to follow it?

x....it doesnt 'upset' me, so much as it interests me...understand, i dont have that much feeling that i look for stuff to upset me, honestly...i'm really not addicted to 'drama', it's just fascinating to me how a person can be so different. it's my love of psychology & personality disorders, which i think casey has a severe one.

I cannot watch much about this Casey trial since it is so upsetting. I know the being busy and not blogging also :)

Seems to me, if she has a severe personality disorder, that's at least a mitigating factor, and could very well change the charge to an offense other than first degree murder (e.g., second degree murder, felony murder, or even to manslaughter).

Mind you, I don't know hardly anything about this case, nor do I care to. My interest here isn't so much the case itself, but your reaction to it. If "upset" isn't the right word, okay. But I sense a strong emotional reaction to the story itself, and I must confess being a bit puzzled by it on a visceral level (although on an intellectual level, I have a very clear understanding).

Yes, I think it's sad that a small child died neglected. I think it's sad when anyone dies before their time. And yes, I think the case should be adjudicated if authorities find evidence of a crime. But thousands of kids die every year, and many of these deaths are due to violence. What I'm asking, really, is why the accute interest in this particular case.

x, see, this story captivates me, because, it's one of the few times i can say "there but for the grace of God, go I", y'know? I was as spoiled growing up, as Casey was, but Mom & Dad were grounded in reality more than her parents were. When I got caught doing something wrong, I got in trouble, not just a "you know better...dont do that again, ok?" I got busted (by my parents) for having speed in my purse...got grounded & a serious lecture from Dad...I got busted in a car with some friends when i was 15, having an open can of beer, got arrested for that, (OMG, the police station & all that!!) and all that stuff + Mom & Dad taught me how to handle that stuff & not to decide life was easier without a baby, I just can't handle this anymore, she was a mistake...& no, I'm not going to "give her" to Mom, that would just tell Mom, she wins. &, x, you will for sure not understand that feeling, unless you're secretly a woman (lol)...but, no, Casey's dad & brother didnt molest her, SHE LIES, OKAY?? if you'd followed this case closely for 3 yrs like me, you'd realize there are no mitigating circumstances here...she's just an evil, uncaring beast who cares for 1 thing in life, herself & having fun!

I do find some parts of the case odd. Like the testimony showing her to be a "loving mother". That was by several people over a span of time. It's hard to fake that.

But what happened? She wasn't known to be a drinker before Casey was murdered. So....why those pictures of mom out dancing?

I think there is far more to the story than we'll ever know and due to all the lies mom told, we'll never know anything.

Still can't figure out why grandma/grandada didn't call police either...they waited a long time as well.

hey, sherry! missed you, i'm still pretty buried in getting the medicaid stuff together, but it'll get there...someday...lol!
anyway....re:casey anthony...you know, anyone can be a good loving mom when they have 'limited amounts' of time with their kid...first thing is, she lives at home with her mom & dad, who seem to have been more in contact with caylee than casey was...of course there was always 'zanny the nanny' who didnt exist...why the hell would an unemployed person have a nanny, anyway? she seemed to have her wild party beast stuffed away & hidden well until there was a fight with her mom in mid-june 2008...then she took off out of the house with caylee, & i think, chloroformed her, after the baby died, left her lying in the back of her car for a few days (the fact that the medical examiner that did open the skull kinda confirms that for me, since what was left of the brain was a mass inside on the left hand side of the skull, meaning that she was left somewhere lying on her left side for a few days)[in the trunk of the car]...then she bagged her up when the car started to smell, went down the street a ways, tossed the bag over the fence into the woods, and started her 31 days of partying before anybody really started questioning "where's caylee?"...and i feel so bad for casey's family, they'll never have a moment's peace without saying those well-known words..."why didn't i do..." the only reason i don't want casey to get the dp is because her family doesnt need to go through that too, you know?
