Rabbit, rabbit!!! ...and rabbit, and rabbit, and rabbit...
Who besides me is all pukey sick of hearing about the mess BOTH MAJOR PARTIES have caused and expect us to be good 'sheeple', and let them take billions of our tax dollars and "fix" it (AS IF!). Quit the fucking finger-pointing, and get busy fixing it! That is why we elect people to be congressmen & senators...and if you can't do the job, get outta the way, so we can elect other people to do it!! Okay, okay, George W is at the wheel now...but, everybody who says he's a ***&*&****, well, if he's that fucking stupid, are you saying that he was brilliant enough to get these bowling pins in the air and juggle them all by himself for a few years?? Or did other people, Republicans and Democrats help out just a little too? Be a little bit honest here, and admit it...nobody wants to be included in the broad brush-stroke of "oh, those Republicans" or "oh, those Democrats", when one or the other parties does something really damn stupid...which happens about every 37 seconds, is my closest estimate...
All righty then...that's my rant (so far...I'm sure I won't be able to stay shut up about it for long...).
I don't know who this guy is. But it kind of makes you think......
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Birk Economic Recovery Plan Hi Pals, I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG. Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a 'We Deserve It Dividend'. To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bon-a-fide U.S. Citizens 18+. Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up.. So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billon that equals $425,000.00. My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a 'We Deserve It Dividend'. Of course, it would NOT be tax free. So let's assume a tax rate of 30%. Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes. That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam. But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket. A husband and wife has $595,000.00. What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family? Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved. Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads Put away money for college - it'll be there Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs. Buy a new car - create jobs Invest in the market - capital drives growth Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care improves Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces. If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it...instead of trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( "vote buy" ) economic incentive that is being proposed by one of our candidates for President. If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adult U S Citizen 18+! As for AIG - liquidate it. Sell off its parts. Let American General go back to being American General. Sell off the real estate. Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up. Here's my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn't. Sure it's a crazy idea that can "never work." But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party! How do you spell Economic Boom? I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion 'We Deserve It Dividend' more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington DC. And remember, The Birk plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because $25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam. Ahhh...I feel so much better getting that off my chest. Kindest personal regards, Birk T. J. Birkenmeier, A Creative Guy & Citizen of the Republic PS: Feel free to pass this along to your pals as it's either good for a laugh or a tear or a very sobering thought on how to best use $85 Billion!!
Well, I did change neurologists last month, to the new one here in town that is more into ms and other movement disorders...she is really good! She's more proactive with this crap than my other local neuro was, which is okay, there's lots of stuff included in the title "neurologist" than just ms studies! The other one was more into sleep disorders, etc. Along with a new neuro, I got another mri done last week, some physical therapy, when they get it scheduled, an eeg, and...I finally have hopeful optimism that I'll be done with the once a week avonex, which is an intramuscular shot (you know...deep, with a BIG (well, maybe not that big) needle). She got me switched over to Rebif, which, yeah, it's 3 shots a week, but they really don't hurt that bad, they're just subcutaneous, like diabetics always have to do...my question is...why the hell don't the researchers find a frigging way for the beta-seron to get to us instead of by a needle?? So far, it's all had to be by injection, because stomach acid would eat it...kinda scary to think that you're walking around with this bag full of something that strong inside of you!! Like a lethal weapon. Question..if you stabbed someone in the stomach, and the stomach acid splashed all over you, would it burn? Must look into that...Anyway, I got my first Rebif shot yesterday, and had no side effects at all that I noticed! With this stuff, the amount is started at a low dose for the first month, gradually increasing it. And it's neat, the company called me the day after I was at the dr's, went over everything with me, and set me up with my first shipment of it, along with an auto-injector! That's good, since my hands are so shaky, I wouldn't WANT to do it without that!
I didn't do it yesterday, Tom did, but we went over the whole auto-inject thingy, so I'm pretty much up on it......do what ya gotta do...AGAIN!
BoUnCeS!! LibbY!
