This is my little friend....'not'!'

No, actually, I guess he thought he was my friend or something! I woke up at 3 am, and went around the corner to the bathroom. Turned on the light in there, everybody knows when you wake up to pee in the middle of the night, it's kind of a habit, you're on 'automatic pilot', right? So...I'm sitting there getting ready to go, and I glanced over at the edge of the sink/door. I was done so I stood up, and thought there was a clump of hair stuck to the bottom of the sink But...it was this big guy scrunched up in the corner! God help me!! :-D

No, I actually had my right hand stretched out to grab the 'big clump of hair' (we're not dirty people, ya know, but Tif wears hair extensions and stuff, and I'm always "shedding"), cuz she had been in there getting ready to go out tonight, and it's pretty much the color of either one of us's hair. Thank you, God, I looked at it closer before I grabbed it!! All you could see was the legs...the body was scrunched up. I didn't scream, I just let out a "eeeewwwwww!!", and looked around for a bunch of paper towels or something, so I could grab it & squish & flush it, but of course all there is in there is t.p....I WAS NOT using that! Cuz if I did, I'd feel it scrunch! So, I looked around, and saw a hardcover book I was reading...picked that up, and just squished the book spine against it...then...I guess I just must've hit it in the head, and it dropped slowly to the carpet. Went under the sink thingy...I bent down and looked...it's freakin' gone!! So...I doubt if I'll be going to the bathroom without lifting the toilet seat and making sure there's no company under it! Arachnophobia, anyone? Well, I know it's not a spider, but, somehow, it's way worse!! I guess it's because of the legs...and that picture at the top is EXACTLY what it was, except mine's bigger! So, Tif was out tonight. That's a very good thing...because if she'dve seen it first...well...everybody on the block would've heard the screams & called the police!

So...I'm gonna go back to bed, and I'll probably just read for the next few hours...keep in mind...my bed is probly ohhh, say, 15 feet away from where "Herbie" was (I may as well give him a name...he's gonna be a longer-term guest than I originally thought!).
